Yukiko Baba is a Japanese printmaker and illustrator who has contributed to the Pokémon TCG since the Neo era (around 1998). Her early work is beloved for a sketchy, abstract, hand-painted style with vague atmospheric backgrounds and charmingly off-model Pokémon, while her later cards favor simpler character portraits of Pokémon in gentle forest scenes. She is praised for staging a little narrative moment for each Pokémon rather than just a dynamic pose.
