Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 20, 2026
This policy explains what personal data PokéTT (“we”, “the service”) collects, why, and the choices you have. PokéTT is a study-purpose analytics project. If you have any question about your data, contact us at privacy@pokett.app.
What we collect
- Account data — if you sign in, our authentication provider (Clerk) processes your email address, display name and the identifier from your chosen sign-in method (e.g. Google). We do not see or store your password.
- Your in-app data — items you save (watchlist, portfolio, alerts and settings) are stored against your account so the service can show them back to you.
- Usage & performance data — aggregated, privacy-friendly metrics about how pages perform and which pages are visited, via Vercel Analytics / Speed Insights. This is not used to track you across other websites.
- Diagnostic data — when something errors, we collect technical error reports (via Sentry) that may include your IP address, browser and the page involved, so we can fix bugs.
- Technical logs — standard server and security logs (IP address, browser/device, timestamps) used to operate the service and protect it from abuse.
Why we use it (legal bases)
- To provide the service you ask for — your account and saved data (performance of a contract).
- To keep the service secure and working, and to understand and improve it (our legitimate interests).
- For anything that legally requires it, on the basis of your consent — which you can withdraw at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We use a small number of trusted providers (“processors”) that handle data on our behalf:
- Clerk — authentication and account management.
- Vercel — website hosting, content delivery and aggregated analytics.
- Cloudflare — content delivery and security/anti-abuse protection.
- Sentry — error and crash diagnostics.
These providers may process data outside your country. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards each provider offers for international transfers.
Cookies
We use a small set of cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and measure performance. See our Cookie Policy for the full list and how to control them.
How long we keep it
We keep account and in-app data for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise the associated personal data, except where we must keep something to meet a legal obligation. Technical and diagnostic logs are kept for a limited period and then removed or aggregated.
Your rights
If you are in the EU/EEA, UK or a similar regime, you have the right to:
- access the data we hold about you, and receive a copy;
- correct inaccurate data, or complete incomplete data;
- delete your data (“right to be forgotten”);
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- withdraw consent at any time;
- lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Children
PokéTT is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age required by their local law (typically 13–16). If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. When we do, we will change the “last updated” date at the top. Significant changes will be made clear on the site.
