Yuka Morii is a professional clay modeler whose Pokémon TCG illustrations are entirely sculpted: she hand-models each Pokémon in clay, paints and poses it, builds a miniature set, then photographs the scene. A graduate of Tokyo Zokei University with an MA from the Kuwasawa Design Institute (where she also lectures), she has produced this unmistakable tactile, three-dimensional style consistently for over two decades, with 200+ cards since the early 2000s.
