Saya Tsuruta is a Japanese designer and illustrator who works on both the Pokémon video games and the Trading Card Game, having graduated from Tama Art University. She is one of the TCG's most prolific and beloved artists, known for clean, bright, expressive character art. Her signature trademark is a hidden Poké Ball tucked somewhere into the background of nearly every illustration she makes.
