NC Empire is a Japanese creative unit working mainly in pop and hardcore illustration and graphic design, with a broad communication-design practice spanning logos, CI/BI, and promotion. In the Pokemon Trading Card Game they are known for bold, dynamic, almost comic-book-like artwork with dramatic light-and-dark contrast on their art rares, and have illustrated cards since the Sun & Moon-era promos. Beyond card art, the unit designs Pokemon card sleeves and other logos.
