Pokémon card illustrator
'match' is the pseudonym of a Japanese digital illustrator who has drawn for the Pokémon Trading Card Game since 2009, debuting in the HeartGold & SoulSilver expansion. Working entirely digitally with a graphics tablet, match is recognized for a distinctive technique using pattern brushes, subtle palettes, and a heavy emphasis on light and shadow with prominent outlines, sometimes giving cards an almost 3D, rendered look. Roughly 140 main-series cards bear the 'match' credit.
