Pokémon card illustrator
Masako Yamashita (山下雅子) is a Japanese Pokémon TCG illustrator who has been contributing to the card game since the late 1990s, with her earliest work appearing in the Japanese Expansion Sheet Series 3 and her English debut in the Neo Revelation set. Her catalog of roughly 32–35 cards spans the Neo era (Neo Destiny, Neo Revelation), the e-Card era (Expedition, Aquapolis, Skyridge), and the Japanese VS series — where she illustrated the complete Chuck's Pokémon subset — through to Pokémon TCG Pocket in 2024. Her style is characterized by soft, painterly naturalism typical of the Neo and e-Card eras, with gentle compositions and muted palettes that suit common and uncommon Pokémon like Vulpix, Light Ninetales, and Geodude.
