MAHOU (まほう) is a Japanese Pokémon TCG illustrator working on the game since 2008, when their debut cards Sentret and Furret appeared in the HeartGold & SoulSilver expansion. Active across both the main TCG and Pokémon TCG Pocket, they have illustrated well over 100 cards and also work on original character and product design. The name reads as a pseudonym (まほう means 'magic'), and they maintain an active presence on Twitter/Bluesky.
