Shin-ichi Yoshida (吉田振一) is a Japanese illustrator who contributed to the Pokémon TCG from the late 1990s through the early 2000s, working across the Team Rocket, Gym Heroes, Gym Challenge, Neo series, and the Expedition block (Expedition, Aquapolis, Skyridge), as well as the Japanese-exclusive VS and Vending Machine card sets. With around 90 cards to their name, they are particularly associated with Dark-type Pokémon cards and the Clair's team entries in the VS set, and their work resurfaced in 25th Anniversary promo releases. Their illustration style leans toward clean, detailed traditional-feeling artwork characteristic of the Wizards-era card pool.
