Pokémon card illustrator

kantaro is a Japanese illustrator who has contributed artwork to the Pokemon Trading Card Game since 2022, debuting with Colress's Experiment in the Crown Zenith expansion. They are an active Scarlet & Violet-era artist who aims to convey the charm of each Pokemon as a living creature, and have also created designs for the Project VOLTAGE collaboration (Hatsune Miku as an Ice- and Poison-type Trainer). kantaro served as an Illustrator Judge for the 2024 TCG Illustration Contest.
